Greetings and welcome to the Brooks Hatton Studio web site.

My name is Mike Brown. I've worked in the graphic arts field for over thirty years
in nearly every medium. Creating unique artwork by mixing various mediums has always facinated me - as illustrated in the Mixed Media section of my portfolio. These paintings are created by cutting out shapes from pre-colored paper and gluing them to a board to compose a scene. The brilliant striations in the paper provide a unique look.

So, where did the name Brooks Hatton Studio come from? Well, with such a common last name, finding a suitable domain name became difficult. My middle name is Brooks and my older brother's middle name is Hatton. I combined the names, added Studio and -- voila' -- Brooks Hatton Studio was born.

My artwork has been displayed in numerous art shows on the South Shore and
I'm an active member of the North River Arts Society and Duxbury Art Association.
